Performance Pay - Outstanding TeacherType B PortfolioThis Content Standards Based Portfolio (option B) is available to any teacher who is eligible for the Outstanding Teacher Program. Portfolio ConstructionI. Table of Contents II. Context A. Philosophy and Rationale B. Resume and Context C. Statement of your goal relative to standards implementation
D. Brief thesis statement explaining why you believe your work this year in implementing Standards Based Education is at the outstanding level of performance. III. Criteria and Artifacts* Provide artifacts to demonstrate performance at the V or IV variance for each identified component in the Configuration Map. At least one component must be demonstrated at the V variance. (See: District Document, "Standards-Based Education: Configuration Map, February 1999" for additional information) At least one artifact must be provided for each component (A,B,C & D as listed below) plus 2 additional artifacts of your choice for a total of 6 artifacts. A. Adjustment of Instruction, Component #1 B. Role of Assessment, Component #4 C. Feedback on Student Progress and Student Ownership and Understanding of Learning, Components #2 and #5 D. Professional Collaboration about Student Learning, Component #3 IV. Evaluation A. Copy of teacher performance evaluation or growth plan B. Brief written reflection on your summative evaluation or growth plan V. Reflection* (2 - 3 pages) A. Self review - what you did B. Reflection - how did it work C. Recommendations for future implementation VI.
