Negotiations 2011-2012

Certified Negotiations: Met December 14, 2011. Worked through minor language changes in contract and discussed multiple other issues leading to sub-committee groups to discuss and bring back research and ideas. The next negotiations meeting will be held in January 11, 2012.

Classified Negotiations: Met January 4, 2012 with quality dialogue and discussion. No decisions were settled upon with the next meeting date on February 1, 2012 (Groundhogs days!).

Updates for negotiations will become available as we meet. Please note that unless, a decision has been agreed upon by both bargaining teams, most information must remain confidential. We will continue to communicate what we can, however it may be on a limited basis. If you have direct questions, please contact the DCF office and we will do our best to inform you on inquiries.

The negotiations process that both the DCFT and the DCFCE use with the Douglas County School District is Interest Based Bargaining (IBB). You will find an outline of how the IBB process works in the September 2011 edition of the Rapping Paper.
