Update: 8-16-11 School Board Meeting

Last night the School Board heard extensive information on the need for a Mill/Bond Election (3A/3B) to pass in November. Concerns were listed, in the event it doesn't pass, around severe overcrowding in the schools/classes, furlough days, loss of programs and people, etc. The board asked a lot of questions of the representatives in attendance from the district's bond agent. Board President John Carson declared that a final decision on whether to "call the question" on a 3A/3B election would be made on August 30th.

Public comment was filled with lively discussion on the voucher ruling by the Denver judge. Other public comment centered around the need to go for a Mill/Bond Election in November.
